Internships
Finding your first job, especially in a competitive field, can feel like navigating a maze. For graduates and those seeking to enter a new career path, the biggest hurdle is often the ‘experience paradox’: you need experience to get a job, but you can’t get experience without a job. This creates a frustrating cycle, leaving many talented individuals feeling locked out of opportunities.
At Making Education a Priority (MEaP), we understand this challenge. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to demonstrate their potential. That’s why we offer structured internship programs designed to bridge the experience gap. Our internships provide valuable hands-on experience in various fields, allowing participants to develop practical skills and build a professional portfolio.
Our program goes beyond simply ‘getting experience’. We also focus on equipping interns with essential workplace skills, depending on their field, such as time management, reporting and documentation, problem-solving, workplace etiquette, workplace terminology, software skills, remote working skills for today’s evolving landsscape, etc.
Our goal is to make our interns more employable, not just by providing them with experience, but by building their confidence and equipping them with the tools they need to succeed. We believe that by investing in talent, we are investing in the future of our community. We are passionate about giving a chance to those who need it most, and helping them to break through the employment barrier.
