About The Phoenix Way – Phoenix Fund – Children and Youth Emergency Round

The Phoenix Way is a national partnership led by The Ubele Initiative in collaboration with the Global Fund for Children. The partnership was established during the COVID-19 pandemic to address structural inequalities and improve access to funding for Black and racially minoritised community-led organisations in the UK.

The Funding Focus

The partnership manages the “Phoenix Fund: Children and Youth Emergency Round,” which supports non-profit groups, charities, or organisations like MEaP working with young people at risk of violence.

Context of Support: This funding initiative was designed to help organisations impacted by the cost-of-living crisis and to support, specifically, Black, Asian, and minority-led organisations in England.

Partners: The initiative is supported by organisations including the Youth Endowment Fund, Global Fund for Children, and The National Lottery Community Fund.
