In partnership with S.M.I.L.E: Summer School Employability Training using Basketball and Olympic Summer of Sports (MMU), 4.7.16 – 18.8.16
As part of our ongoing research into community education and its impact on urban communities, GIFT (supported by MEaP) ran a Summer School of sports based activities at the Brooks Building (MMU) that was designed to teach the soft skills required for employment and the general improvement of Life Skills. This initiative was linked to our research into enterprise education and its ability to build resilience in BAME communities.
