Pioneering MEaP: First supplementary school in Greater Manchester to achieve Manchester City Council’s Higher Level Accreditation Award
Building on the work of the Foundation Level Award that was successfully led by our Head Teacher, Amber Abisai, our Teacher Training mentor, Dr Ornette D Clennon led our submission to the Higher Level Award.
This scheme is also being closely watched by Bradford and Birmingham City Councils who are also interested in adopting this innovative new scheme.

Impact of Our Work
From Saida Hadriz, Man Met Student Ambassador working in the school
I loved spending every second with the students in the classroom, they made me feel very welcomed and appreciated. The environment of the classroom and being around the students and the staff was very calming and comforting. Working as a team with the other staff, made everything so much easier, as everyone was helpful and we all looked out for one another. It was an experience, that I would not forget. How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
From Jan Bradburn, Lead for Supplementary Schools, Manchester City Council
Congratulations to the MEaP Twilight School.
They are the first school to be awarded the Manchester Higher Level Achievement Award. Their practice is exemplary in all areas and they should rightfully be proud of their achievement.
