Supporting local heroes 2020

In May 2020, Heart FM and the Co-op partnered to recognise and thank the individuals who made the year 2020 special for so many people, focusing on community spirit during challenging times. Key aspects of this collaboration and similar initiatives around that time included supporting Local Heroes. The partnership aimed to shine a light on local heroes who played their part in feeding the nation and supporting their communities. MEaP were proud to have our own Dr Ornette D Clennon recognised for his part in helping young people.

Thanks to the co-op members, 2 pence of every 1 pound spent on selected co-op branded products goes to great community causes like the ones featured in the video below.
