The programme will deliver a combination of training and workshops in career building, digital skills fundamentals, and health and wellbeing.  The focus will be supporting those who are long term sick or looking after family/home to help them to re-enter the employment market and to progress into volunteering opportunities, further training, or employment.  This include developing personal learning and action plans, accessing support services to overcome barriers. 

 Programme Contents

The programme will consist of: 

  • ​Individual Learning Plan that ascertain the career goals, learning needs, obstacles and builds a learning path for the participants. This includes an initial / Baseline Assessment that evaluates the skills and knowledge before the training starts and identify participants’ learning needs for effective placement in appropriate learning activities. This designs a personalised learning and integrate learning needs into the existing training plan.
  • ​Career Support Workshop, focused on providing specific skills for identified careeradmin skills, sales, customer service skills, reporting, accounts payable, etc.
  • Job preparation including CV writing workshop, Interview Techniques Workshop, LinkedIn profile building and networking
  • Digital skills: basics of using IT to increase productivity, stay safe, troubleshoot issues, using the web, become data literate and explore different areas of IT and how they can help with work, socially or with life
  • Build portfolio with all the elements that you learned and create, be confident in your use of IT, and gain transferable skills to strengthen your job prospects.

Who, When and Where is the course taking place?

Who (Eligibility): You must be unemployed. This course is tailored for job seekers.

Who (Trainer): The IT course is delivered by 3E Web Media, experts in digital and data literacy and inclusion. Other courses will depend on individual needs garnered from the individual learning plans.

When: from May 2024 to December 2024, days and times depending on individual needs garnered from the individual learning plans. The programme set up takes place in May. The enrolment happens in June. The individual learning plans are done in July and August. The programme starts as soon as the individuals are ready and the plans completed. 

Where: Our consortium organisations are all involved as are any of our partners. The place of delivery will depend on what is convenient for individual as worked out during the building of their individual learning plans. We are able to secure venues where is most convenient to our participants or help with their transportation to the nearest venue.
