“I just thought it would be nice to share my GCSE results to my respective tutors -thanks to the consistent push you kept giving me to excel , as well as the wonderful tips & knowledge I achieved a grade 8 in English Language & a grade 9 in English Literature. Thanks to the extra help in supporting me in topics I wasn’t too confident in, I achieved a grade 8 in Maths along with Grade 7s in all my sciences.

A message for my other peers who are yet to do their GCSEs my advice to you is to keep working hard & expect all the help you can in your various subjects. “I did the TECHWELL Employability Programme, and through that, I applied for a voluntary finance role with MEaP to brush up on my experience. It was a great way to practice applying and doing a real interview – and I was so happy when I got the role!
I volunteered for two weeks, which really helped build my confidence. Then my advisor from the Ingeus Restart Programme showed me a Junior Accountant role. I thought I’d just apply for the experience, but within a week they invited me for an interview – and then offered me the job!
I didn’t think it would all happen so fast, or that I’d find an accounting role that fits around my young family. I start on Monday and I’m so excited.
I just want to say a big thank you to the team at MEaP for all the support with my CV and interview prep. It made such a difference – I’m really grateful and will definitely stay in touch.”

Over the internship, I have developed my skills surrounding research and developing a research project. MEaP has been really helpful with my project with my advisor guiding me in the right direction to complete a good project. Overall I really enjoyed working with everyone at MEaP and I hope my project is useful to them for the future.

I recently completed my nutrition placement, where I was taught a range of new skills that have strengthened my confidence and understanding of the field. The staff were genuinely lovely, and Christina and Manuella guided me throughout the entire experience they were ideal mentors who supported me with patience and encouragement. We had weekly meetings that helped me stay on track, and they were always understanding of my needs and questions. The placement provided valuable hands‑on experience, and I truly enjoyed every part of it. Overall, it was meaningful, beneficial, and had a positive impact on my learning and development.

I must say that your educational provision is outstanding and I would like to thank you for all that you have put in place so far for X.

Congratulations to the MEaP Twilight School. They are the first school to be awarded the Manchester Higher Level Achievement Award. Their practice is exemplary in all areas and they should rightfully be proud of their achievement.

By the way he has really benefitted from the classes, especially seen his spirit lift from the English lessons with Ruth. Really appreciate all the help and support you’ve provided me and my son. I have been recommending the academy to others and will continue to do so.
