2023 internships: Welcoming Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) Students
In Febuary 2023, MEaP was fortunate enough to receive three first year undergraduate students from Manchester Metropolitan University who join us to gain work based learning experience. Their project involved reviewing our social media output and reach. The placement provided a great intergenerational learning exchange of ideas and skills for both the students and our team!
Providing Quality work experience opportunities through internships
The students gained live access and insights to the priorities of MEaP to help them form their recommendations. They also relished the opportunity to use their creative sides to design social media posts in line with MEaP’s priorities. The students needed to organise themselves as a team to meet deadlines and present their recommendations and did a great job!

We are sure these contributed to the increased success of our enrolment pupil enrolment campaign. Our consortium partners Highway Hope and Nurturing Foundations also offered quality work-based learning experiences to MMU Students to inspire and equip the next generation!
